As the year comes to a close we are visiting my sister and her husband in Philadelphia! Having a wonderful time here and my sister said, “Oh I have a wonderful idea for your blog!”. She wanted to declutter 365 items in her house. In one day. ONE DAY!
So, in one day, (while still doing our usual visiting and touring around) we managed to find 365 things, most of which are in this picture. Pretty impressive! Packed up and ready to go :). Good job sis and bro in law! I know it was difficult at times but you guys are troopers!
Before Evan and I moved in together I had a set of tweezers at my place, and after forgetting them either at mine or his place I decided I better get a second pair. Then I was left with 2 pairs but really only needing one. I figured I would leave one in our toiletry bag, but when my sister came to visit me she said that she also liked my tweezers (these are very good ones, I would recommend!) and that she may get the same ones. Well, I figured I don’t really need 2 pairs so I’d give one of them to her. And so there you have it!
Boxers! With many holes in them. Many…Many.. many holes.
Four shirts I don’t wear anymore, for various reasons….
The lights don’t work on this tree, I’m also not too fond of it, and I have another tree about this size. There you go, 3 reasons!
Short story: It’s broken.
Long story: Evan was warming up a bowl of ravioli in the microwave, pulled the bowl out, it was very hot, the bowl fell on the floor, broke, he had tried to catch it, burnt his finger, accidently dropped the phone case in the ravioli, it broke. Ravioli everywhere. Broken bowl everywhere. What a disaster.
This is one of those things I was really excited to get and then used it like twice and now…not…so much. I’ll sell it!
These (only one shown, but there are 2) frames used to be my Mom’s. She decided she didn’t need them so I said I’d like to have them. However, they are pretty heavy and our walls seem to be made out of concrete and it doesn’t like nails too much. (Thank goodness for command strips!) When my sister was here visiting she said she’d like to have them (and if she’ll use them that makes a whole lot more sense than me holding on to them wishing I could). But! She couldn’t fit it into the car when they left so we will probably take them down in about a week when we go visit her :).
This is the bottom of a cheese grater I once had, that I really liked. I accidentally left the tops (the grater part) at my old place… I’ve kept this for that long (years!) because it’s a good cheese grater. Which is a really stupid reason to keep this because… I don’t have the grater! As a container, it’s really not that great. It was the grater that was great. Sigh. Okay this can go now.
Another CD of Evan’s. I think he said there was only one or two songs he likes on it. And as I’ve said before, there’s always YouTube and Groove Shark!
